So much has happened since the last time I logged in. I started a doctoral program in January 2020, then Covid hit. We've lost a few family members since then as well. My husband's mother and father, Margo and Luke, my beloved aunt and uncle, Sonia and Alejo, my cousin, Reyne and my cousin's husband, Gilbert.
I graduated with a DBA, a doctorate of Business Administration. My sister, Cindy, and I went on a tour of Ireland in 2022. I started sewing quilts and making military wreaths. Cindy and I also went to Mexico last May. So many trips back and forth to Texas. I became the District 10 American Legion Commander in Montana. I also recently attended the American Legion College in Indianapolis. I met some amazing people. My grandsons are getting older, all 3 are teenagers and my oldest is a High School Sophomore. My son, Nick, recently married, and now I have another grandson. In June, I started writing articles about the military veterans in our county.
We had some snow the last week of October, but it soon cleared up, and it appears we will have a warmer winter. In January 2024, I will be taking a Panamanian cruise and then in February, an African safari. I am also planning a road trip through Canada to Alaska. More to follow. Well, this is the latest update in a nutshell.
