Time is flying by. I went to Texas to visit my grandsons and take them to the coast. I rented a 12 passenger van and off we went, 9 kids and 3 adults. We had a great time. We went to the Aquarium, petted Stingrays and saw lots of sea life, then we spent about 2 hours down at the water's edge. The kids loved building sand castles and playing in the surf. I didn't care for the flying sand but enjoyed watching my boys play. The only downside was the original hotel that I had booked through booking.com. DON'T plan to stay at Americas Best. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Fortunately, our friend had points and was able to secure three rooms at a much nicer place off of Shoreline drive. Spent the rest of the week with my cousin, Rita. We worked on her craft room. Wow, she has so many different crafting machines, to include a 3-D printer. Ended the week going to a birthday party for my 90 year old Aunt. So good to see family and friends, many who I haven't seen in Years! Got back home to Montana last Monday. This certainly is the land of extremes, got back to 100+ degrees, yet today it's raining and low 60's. We bought a ton of hay bales for the horses, we were hurrying to download and set up a perimeter because we could see the cows making a beeline down the road, then the rain started. We didn't get the tarps up in time, but hopefully it will dry up sometime this week, and then we will cover the bales, because WINTER IS COMING!!
