Good morning.  Stephen has been busy, installing our septic tank. Yeah, I can use the bathroom in the cabin now and don't have to go to the horse trailer in the middle of the night.  Although, now that I put up my solar lights outside, the outside is lit up very nicely.  Today we came into Miles City to get more plumbing supplies and gas lines so Steve can install the water and the refrigerator.  Yes, the propane man came out a day early to finish  the propane install. Finally something going to pan. I was able to use my range for the first time yesterday. Well only the stove top. The oven requires electricity to start.  I know, just one more thing.  We still need to order the solar.  So many things to still get done.  Steve needs to finish trenching the area for the septic, dig a cellar for the water and the generator, install the water heater, install solar, put a roof up over the connexs, and build a barn for the horses.  That doesn't include finishing fencing the 100 acres.  And Winter is COMING. Exciting news is that I saw two Bull Elk on the property on Sunday.  I couldn't believe it.  I was going to get water and I looked up thinking I was looking at the horses until I realized that they both had antlers, and in velvet.  Beautiful creatures.  Well all for today. Good morning.  Woke to a cool 60 degrees this morning, but expect tomorrow to get in he 90's.  We have been working on the cabin.  The light fixtures are in, as well as the bathroom fixtures. Starting to look like a home.  Still waiting for the ladder.  I can only pray that the furniture gets here tomorrow.  I have had to turn over so many things to the Lord, otherwise I think I would have had a stroke by now.  I called to get deliver date for the furniture only to find that it wasn't even in stock and wouldn't be delivered until the end of July.  We ended up going to Billings to talk to the store manager, who made things right.  It's just been hurry up and wait here.  I know we are not under any time line expect that winter will be here in 3 months, lol.  Well not much going on here. Hope everyone had a blessed 4th of July.

I was having a good day until I called the furniture store to see if the mattress and bed would be delivered tomorrow.  Customer service said, no, the bed is not in stock and it won't be in until July 20th?  Really?  I am so tired of this hurry up and wait.  I am sure that my blood pressure went up.  When we purchased the bed last week, the salesman told us it would be delivered on Tuesday and that it was in stock.  Then I started working in the conn ex's.  I tripped and hurt my ankle, broke a dish, couldn't put together the metal shelves.  So we decided to drive into Miles City, wash clothes and get groceries.  Hopefully it will be a better day tomorrow.  At least we put up all the shades in the cabin and with minimal problems, lol.  I'll post pictures next time we get to town.
